Joshua // Sf pole and dance

Joshua loved to dance when he was growing up

but one of the only avenues available to them was ballet, a beautiful yet heavily gendered discipline where ‘men’ and ‘women’ each had distinct roles. Once they discovered pole dancing they would finally be able to move in ways that felt natural to them but wasn’t allowed in other spaces. Today, Joshua is an instructor at sf pole & dance.
